Passed:

* Repairshop adjustment - repairshop mobiles would tell a player that they do not have enough gold to repair an item using a different colored say.
* Naming Pets - would offer a predetermined list of names to choose from to pet buyers - moved to Forums for further work.
* New helpfile for wear wield remove
* Fix to helpfile help scroll - will include magical tablet as a means of identifying items.
* Change to locate object - would show multiple corpses even in rooms that have the same names. Easier to do corpse retrieval.

Denied:

* Pet naming - using auth code for weeding out illegal names.
It was felt that this would mean immortal involvement. The immortals
already have enough work as it is without getting into pet authing.
* Pet naming - using existing algorithms, pet names would be generated.
It was felt that this would take up valuable resources that could be
used elsewhere to further develop the game.

No updates from VC or CoE this week.

* Containers with backwear location to show over cloak - Passed
This would allow a character to use config +cloak and still have their backwear container over their cloak.
* North/No - Passed
Make the mud return a 'Huh?' when no is entered to save on dt's.
* Change in mob damage messages - Denied
It was felt that this was unecessary and would give some too much of an advantage in pvm. The messages we see now are sufficient.
* Config +rp toggle off at logon - Denied
It was felt that those who want to rp have the toggle on for that reason and do not need to toggle it back on each time they log on.
* Pets to be allowed into Hometowns - Moved to Forums for further work.

* Changing styles - Since there is already a prompt token that can be colorised, TS saw no reason to add a colorised version of the message when changing styles.
* +/- config option for "just reached Avatar" message. - It was felt that the small amount of spam created by the message was not something deemed worthy of having a config option attached to it. Coding time can be better spent doing other projects that will benefit the game.

There are no updates from VC or CoE this week.

- Adding if you are translucent to the prompt token of hide/invis etc.
- Connecting help remove to the help wear/wield helpfile
- Not being able to buy from shopkeepers you can't see (hidden or invis)
- Allowing pets to enter hometowns by way of a phrase/portal entrance
- Waypoints - New code for builders to increase mob use and movement.

Fails:
- Charging glory to add a save component on apartments. This has failed many times in the past and was felt to not be necessary.

Adding whether spells are brewable or not.
- Many aspects of the game are meant to be unknown until tried, this is one. As with deities, directions and other items helpful to the realm, there are many websites that support discussing info such as this.

* Furniture save - Passed
Certain items like bedrolls, sleeping bags and beds would save with the user when they log off.
* Gold - Pass
Give more gold to certain mobs, higher midas values to some quipment

* Two-handed magic user staff - Denied
This should be left up to builders.
* Mobs and trigger punctuation - Denied
Half the fun is figuring out what to say and how to say it to a mob  when exploring an area and figuring out puzzles.
* Minimum level 6 for weapon types to show up on practice - Denied
There is nothing wrong with practicing weapon types before level 6. Once a player has reached level 6, it's easy to see what weapon type  they are wielding as it begings to adept automatically once practiced. Practicing weapon types is not a waste of practice sessions prior to  level 6.

The following proposals were discussed and voted on:

* Hardcore Mode - Denied
A player would only be able to log one peaceful character and once that character died, it would not regenerate. All equipment etc would be lost
* Housing transfer - Passed
Would enable two players to buy a house or apartment without using the benefits of homebuy. The transaction would be recorded automatically.
* Purge apartment key toggle - Passed
Would enable the owner of a newly purchased home through housing transfer to purge any previously made keys for that home upon taking ownership.
* Shorten spell flags - Denied
Ex: Hide(H) Translucent(T) Invis(I) when you see a player standing in a room. - The proposal was voted down since new ideas were brought forward that would change the whole idea.
* Gag Levels for fight spam - Passed
Would enable a player to gag more than misses etc.
* Nation Deities - Denied
It was proposed that each Nation be assigned a deity like orders/clans. The proposal was voted down as nations is not a coded organisation. Immortal participation is purely voluntary. And most immortals when approached for help with quests etc are more than happy to help out.
* IOQ/IGQ quest channel - Passed
A channel that would be activated during IGQ and IOQ quests and open only to guilded or ordered players.
* Add to Hints: Information about CoD - Passed
Would give information directing new players to help cry

* Silenced/helled showing in whois player - Denied
Buyer beware, if a tell you send to the character you are buying sends you back the message that this character is helled/silenced....It is your choice if you still want to buy a char that is helled/silenced. There is no need to display this information in the whois.
* Reduce experience loss on recalling from combat to same as flee - Denied
Fleeing from combat involves an element of risk, recalling from combat brings you to a nice safe haven. Hence the higher cost in exp loss.
* Penal colony - Denied
It was felt this proposal would encourage players to break the rules/laws of the game for the infamy of being in the penal colony and having stats displayed in a rogue's gallery.

The following proposals were discussed and voted upon:
* Bash skill - Denied
Bash success rate would have been dependant on the victim's constitution - It was felt that the skill's effects were fine as they are now.
* Gouge skill - Passed
Gouge success rate dependant on the victim's luck.
* Forrested Strongholds - Adrenaline counter for retreat - Denied
It was felt that this proposal would cause a great deal of imbalance between peaceful and deadly pk'ers in the arena.
* Disown for pets - Denied
Pet whistle was passed by CoE and is awaiting implementation. This would solve the existing problems with losing pets.
* Sacrifice safety - Denied
To add a safety to the sacrifice command for items level 45 or higher and full containers would force player to type sacrifice in full instead of short form of "sac <item name>" - Players should be responsible enough to keep track of items etc.
* Forrested Strongholds - non reset timer (like gouge lag)
This proposal was moved to Forums for fine tuning and further development.

Clear Passes:
- Snuff: this would allow Player to extinguish his pipe and save the remaining contents for a later time vs waiting them to burn out
- who path. This proposal would allow someone to type "who destruction" (for the path of destruction), rather than the currently required "who 'path of destruction'

Clear Fails:
- passlock command - This command would simply disable the 'password' command while passlock is enabled. This failed for a few reasons, one being that if you aren't absolutely sure about a person, don't let them use your char to begin with. Also, it could cause problems with trading chars.
- Deity Affects to show in AFF - The proposed change is to make this affect show up in the AFF list with something like --- to show up for the duration. This failed because affected_by shows you everything you are affected by. where AFFected shows you only what spells have been cast on you. Also, some deities also give some resists. Therefore, it was felt that all these should remain in aff by.

The following proposals were discussed and voted upon:

* Woodland Harmony spell syntax change - Denied - In order for the syntax of this spell to be changed to show a message when attempting to cast it on self, the spell would have to be made into an offensive spell. This would ruin the intent of the spell.
* Pixie to receive a bonus to dodge as a race affect - Passed
* Petfind command - Passed - This would enable the petowner to find out the geo/area/room their lost pet is located in.
* Sheath - Pass
A config option that would enable the user to sheath his weapons.
* Config +/-auras - Pass - The config option would allow the user the choice to see or not see the glow/hum/magical tags in front of equipment on themselves or others.
* New command Note/Mail read "next" - Pass - The command would enable the user to simply type note read next without having to use a number, this would automatically bring them to the next note
* Blorin - engraving service - Denied - Mobs cannot enter a buffer to edit object descriptions which renders this proposal useless.
* Magic flag removed/added using glory - Pass
* Corpses, deathroth, cold storage - Denied - This proposal would have sent corpses to a special room for cr purposes when the tick timer ran out for later imm cr. The risk of losing all your belongings when exploring, running, etc is an integral part of the game. Removing this would greatly reduce the excitement and challenge that makes the Realms interesting. No need to change this.

* "look all" - Passed - similar to 'scan all'. Show what is in the rooms immediately around you.
* Float/fly message - Passed - Would clarify if a character is floating or flying by just looking
* Spiral Blast Adeption fix - Passed - The spell does not go to 95% as it should. If it did go to full adept augurers would have a higher chance of casting it successfully.
* Arrow weight - Passed - Reduce weight of "fletched" arrows from 2 to 1 to match others in game.

*Sheath - Remove it if you don't want to wear it. With some types of weapons, this approaches rediculous.
*Magical Glory - Not realistic - magic is intrinsic. Consider the implications to existing and future areas & builders specifically making non-enchantable weapons

The following proposals were reviewed, discussed and voted on:

* DH guards and gates - Passed - A way for guards to open the gate at night for players to pass using either a social or bribery (to be determined by VC/CoE)
* Avatars as trainers - Denied - People need to travel to DH to practice skills/spells. This will not change - A feeling of accomplishment is much better when one works for what they achieve in the end.
* Bring back Tage - Denied - Tage was removed as a combined decision from NC and CoE. Stoneheft will attest that this mob was too much hand holding and really impeded the ability of new players to learn anything by trancing them around. This isn't a mob we're willing to bring back.

CD Gold - Will only change the level of the bots. Will cause more complaints.
Float/Fly message - The message is logical. If you looked in the room, a person appear to be hoverng, not zooming around.
Look All - Seems like laziness. Scan is a skill. It is learned.

The following proposals were discussed and voted upon:

- Customizable enter/leave game messages - this failed as people could pick their own enter/leave message which could cause confusion. A similar idea has moved to the forums with more restrictions.

- changed xp formula for adepting spells - this passed and the idea was to give more experience for people who adept the spells at lower levels (when they actually get the spell as opposed to waiting until av to adept it)

- Classes Idea - this idea failed. It was to show which class had certain  spells or skills. It was felt that people could make a new char easily enough to find the particular spell, but the mystery of not knowing if there too.

- News search string - this idea passed and was a way to find an item in the news by typing news search (keyword).

AFK not to Interrupt Manaregen - Trance/med are active. A person concentrates when doing so. A person shows as 'in a deep trance' and so, it is apparent that they may not respond.

- Changing cleric's trance to the word prayer. Perhaps this may be brought up again in the future, but with the many coding things right now, we can only take ideas that are deemed essential.

*Proposal: aligment changing messages - It was felt that this was not needed as alignment can already be seen in prompt.
*Proposal: written in blood - This idea was so that notes couldn't be copied as they were written in the blood of the author. It was felt it was not needed as only the author/leaders can copy notes and there was little problems with it.
