nation leader command, this proposal was failed because there is a list of
nations and leaders as well as their RP names and hometowns in the command
'nations'. As for adding colour, people thought this was not needed.

**dodge/parry- This proposal is to change the max percentage of
dodge/parry/tumble/ect to lower values if in aggressive or berserk, and
possibly higher values (or maybe just not at all) for defensive and evasive.
It was felt that the dif styles cover this issue well enough, it would not
change gameplay for the better.

*Practice all-instead of typing prac each skill/spell individually, it just
practices everything. In the event that you don't have enough practices, for all
the new skills/spells you get, the prac all command can just return an echo
saying something to the effect of "You don't have enough practices for all your
skills/spells, practice them individually".

*The idea of using extra practices to increase spell/skill adeptness by a %,
from 5-10% failed because it was felt that it would be way too powerful and too
easy to increase skills or spells.
*The idea of being able to copy journals from one to another. This failed since
most people didn't really use journals all that often and therefore didn't see a
need for it. This came from various guild and order members. It was felt that
with limited coders/time etc, that this idea could perhaps be brought up again
in the future when/if people had an increased interest in journals.

*Tribute to our Fallen. When a person passes, their closest friends or their
organisation always seem to create a tribute to them in some way. A room with
signs/statues naming every player who has died will become little more than a
name on a wall and not the sensitive tribute needed by those left behind. This
is something that, however well-intentioned, could never be done well on such a
scale. Loril's note: Please also be sensitive to your immortals who would be in
the position of having to determine the validity of a request.
*Banks in orgs. Branch banking is not medieval. Reaching Darkhaven is easy. To
be fair, we would need one in every clan, order, guild and hometown out there.

**makeleader command- instead of having to re-follow, have the current leader do
a "makeleader <person>" when you're in a group and the leader needs to be
changed, or someone else made leader of the group.
**Journal Customization (rewrite) - have a mob that can add your name to the
journal for a fee.

**using earned glory to change race & using earned glory to add an echo to eq or
weapons. It was felt that this proposal should have been 2 not the one and that
it would possibly lead to abuse, ie changing race for certain weapons etc.

**Purchasable blood fountains. We got no explanation from CoE on this one. If
Loril's take helps in any way, I'd guess blood fountains would be tantamount to
free mana. There is no ability for mana users to make a one-time purchase of
forever-free blues. Vampires can, however, purchase the ability to -not- suffer
daytime blood loss.

In other TS news, I have assumed the position of Head of TS.

but I am very excited about the challenges to come.

*Proposed a new format for meetings called a colloquium where the individual who
proposes the idea would be invited to speak to the group and field questions.
This would remove opinion-based discussion and focus on understanding the issue
at hand. This idea is to be posted on the forums for feedback and comments.

behaving as the builder originally intended. Desirable equipment is
traditionally placed after some set of obstacles and so is the case here.

**Victory/defeats for guilds/orders - this is really a deadly thing. While there
is some interest in peaceful pkill, it isn't the main thrust of guilds or
orders. As well, it is an arena activity with no risk. We can't really see
any need for it.
**Increasing emote/oemote buffers - We actually -do- see possibilities for
abuse. Anything that takes half a room description size to describe has a lot of
potential to become annoying. Aside from that, when oemote was increased, it was
done with the understanding that it stopped there.

Increase level for chardelete - This command was added originally with the
intent of never increasing it. A level 2-5 character is essentially valueless.
Higher than that, the value of a well-statted character increases opening us to
issues with password theft, people accidentally deleting and requesting that the
character be restored and similar.

Effective immediately in order to better represent you, TS will be removing org
reps and placing everyone at large. We are moving to a more collaborative
structure in which all TS reps are encouraged to aid in the proposal process.
Where once only a single rep would formulate a proposal on behalf of an
individual, the individual and TS as a whole will now make a joint effort to
bring the idea to life.
Using a more collaborative approach should encourage proposals that are better
developed thereby increasing the likelihood that a proposal will be approved for
implementation.
We would like to stress that this does not mean that orgs will not be
represented. In fact, orgs are encouraged to work with any TS rep(s) and should
also benefit from the change and increased input.
All new applicants to TS will need to apply as an at large rep.
