Subject: Minutes Jan 8 2001

Hi TSers!

I'm not sure who is suppose to be in charge of the minutes, but I thought I
would quickly post something up for those of you that missed tonights meeting.

Immortals
Selina :)

Since it seems like forever since we had a meeting with the holidays, we spent
some time trying to find exactly where we left off. Aura and Predict have
been tossed back to Skills/Spells for some minor changes.

"Swim" Passed with flying colours. On to the next step with that one.

We ended the evening with a discussion on "Kill Stealing" and possible ways
of preventing it from happening.

**This note board needs a good cleaning! *Nudge Cersei* :)

Minutes for Jan 15, 01

Topics discussed included:
Recall/Tage type method for transportion to Hometowns was turned down due to
coding nightmare!

The fun topic of "Being Drunk". It was decided to hold onto this idea and
see if we could come up with some more medieval type terms, or purhaps change
the amount of times you fall down etc.

Note Stacking. Amendments to the 'findnote/notes' help file may be a possible
solution.

Lastly, "Aura" is still on the S sub for name change. Hopefully it will be
ready for next weeks meeting.

Minutes for January 22, 01

Topics discussed.
Message at Certain Levels. It was decided that we place this idea on hold
until we have more information on it.

Protection. After a long discussion that included possible forms of protection
and different ways of gaining protection it was decided by vote to pass on this
topic at this time.

Race Equipment. It has been decided that we will continue to view this
suggestion. Race Eq ideas have been passed to the 'proper sub-committee'.
Watch for more details to follow on this one. :)

The Final Revision for "Mystic Aura" has been posted. Please make sure to
take the time to vote!

Minutes for Jan, 29, 01

Topics discussed.
*Reclassing- It was decided that we would wait and see what changes are coming
to classes in the next port. Watch for this one to reappear, but for now it
has been placed on the back burner.

*Food/Fire- Seems that 'create fire' is an already working project. Once
again we are letting this one be until we see the new changes. :) Although
the topic of "food" is still open if anyone has suggestions.

*Paladins 'Detect Evil'- Edmond informed us that we could easily be rid of
detect evil, but it would 'not' be replaced with 'detect invis'.

Agreed that this class will not be worked on at this time.

* New coin system - Still in the works. Anyone wishing to work on

S/S has been extremely busy this week. Please take the time to vote

Since we have all worked extremely hard in the past weeks and since it's
a holiday for some of us *stares up at the sky* there will be no meeting

* Gnoll Shaman - It was decided to leave the Gnoll how he is, it's nice
for lowbies to have some challenge and purhaps form a group to kill it.
* Suggestion for Guilds command - passed
* Bring back Lizardmen - denied
* Orb of Recall - As nice as this idea sounds, there are many ways to obtain
recalls and at a low cost. Since recalls can already be bought, brewed
and scribed, we found it not necessary to consider this idea further.

* Necromancer - As it's own class it was declined, purhaps some of the
suggested spells could be used for Nephandi's
* Hometown Recalls - I spoke to Edmond as to why it was declined in the
past. Turns out that it is already a working project. So there
is the update on hometown recalls :)
* Being Drunk - We will leave these notes up a bit longer, so everyone
has a chance to post concerns, comments and suggestions.

immortal community stated a few reasons as to why this was removed. (It
just looked crappy, not many areas ARE restricted, people know and or find
out which areas are restricted quite quickly) Those are some of the reasons.
